Problem with virtual_alias_maps

Michael Fernández M-2
Hi....

I'm having some problems with virtual_alias_maps, i mean: all this time
this worked fine, however i do not why and i can not find why is
happening this now...

I have alias and accounts on LDAP, Ldap is ok.. postfix found accounts,
however the alias are not found.

Every time i send a mail to an alias postfix search into ldap, and
execute the search and found the entry however postfix says: unknown
user: "[hidden email]"

Here is the log for ldap:

Jul 29 14:37:11 venus slapd[21914]: conn=34 op=72 SRCH
base="gr=xxx.cl,gr=aliases,gr=postfix,o=xxx" scope=2 deref=0
filter="(&(objectClass=VirtualMailAlias)(mail=[hidden email])(Active=TRUE))"
Jul 29 14:37:11 venus slapd[21914]: conn=34 op=72 SRCH attr=maildrop
Jul 29 14:37:11 venus slapd[21914]: conn=34 op=72 SEARCH RESULT tag=101
err=0 nentries=1 text=

Actually i do not undertand why....

I set virtual_alias_maps to hash map and the result is the same.

When i run: postmap -q [hidden email] ldap:./alias_map it returns
the values... the same with  postmap -q [hidden email]
hash:./alias_map_hash

Someboy have any idea about this?

Postfix version: 2.1.5-9
Debian Sarge.

Thanks!!!

Michael.-

please provide information on your problem:
- postfix logs (and not slapd logs)
- output of 'postconf -n'
- content of master.cf

first guess: you disabled virtual_alias_maps in master.cf.
