SMTP Relay only for some domain?

Claudio Prono
Hi all,

I have looked around for that problem, but no solution for now. That is
the problem:

- In postfix i can relay some mail having some specific domains to a
different SMTP ? Normally the mails are delivered from the local smtp,
but for some problems some domains refuse my mails for a problem on the
reverse or something similar. I can say to postfix "when a mail have the
domain spiecified relay to this smtp server" ?

Cheers,

Claudio.

Ok thank u.

I have added a line in transport like that:

domain.com            smtp:smtp.domain.it:25

And all the mail to domain.com will be relayed to smtp.domain.it on port 25.

All done, thank u :)

Hi

You might use a "transport" map.

Sure, but in the wait the problem is solved, i relay the mail to some domains to another SMTP server, so they won't be rejected.

Cla.

if this is your ISP relay, use
domain.com      smtp:[smtp.domain.it]
(with brakets) to avoid an MX lookup. (25 is unnecessary as it is the
default smtp port).
