recipient_bcc_maps and alias group

natan
Hi
I have postfix3 and "recipient_bcc_maps" (all users in ldap)

If I send e-mail from extrenal server (yaho.com) to [hidden email] -
works fine
If I send e-mail from extrenal server (yaho.com) to
[hidden email] - works fine

all e-mail bcc to "[hidden email]"

but not working:
If I send e-mail from extrenal server (yaho.com) to
[hidden email] - like send to ([hidden email])

Any idea why not working in alias.group ?

I have "no_address_mappings"
smtp       unix  -       -       y       -       -       smtp
       -o smtp_helo_timeout=5 -o smtp_connect_timeout=5

Re: recipient_bcc_maps and alias group

Hi
List users with [hidden email]:

[hidden email]
[hidden email] (this e-mail is in recipient_bcc_maps ->
[hidden email])
[hidden email]
[hidden email]
[hidden email]
[hidden email] (this e-mail is in recipient_bcc_maps ->
[hidden email])
[hidden email]
[hidden email]

bcc account is [hidden email]

but why if I send to alias.group don't have bcc e-mail in user6 and user2 ?

For test I added bcc_maps like:
[hidden email] -> [hidden email]
works ok but this is not what I need

In old e-mail system - like qmail - works fine

There is NO DEPENDENCY between Postfix virtual alias expansion and
sender/recipient_bcc_maps. The result from vitual alias expansion
is NOT used by sender/recipient_bcc_maps, and the result from
sender/recipient_bcc_maps is NOT used by virtual alias expansion.

Sorry, I will not spend my time on manually-anonymized evidence.

Correction: the flow is

    recipient -> virtual_alias_maps

    recipient -> recipient_bcc_maps -> virtual_alias_maps

That is, virtual alias processing happens after recipient_bcc_maps
processing. There can be no recipient_bcc_maps processing before
AND after virtual_alias_maps, because that could result in a loop.
